It all started with a simple idea, independent businesses should be able to work together more easily.
After 10 years working in finance, Glenn moved into helping people sell their businesses. One thing kept coming up: the best businesses weren’t always the easiest to grow or pass on. Especially when everything relied on the owner.
From there, he stepped into a managing director role within a buying group, bringing independent merchants and independent suppliers together. It worked, but it also showed how difficult those connections can be without the right network.
A couple of years after stepping away, and while running Cissbury Tap, it clicked.
Why not do the same thing for pubs?
